Perfect beginners articulated pike fly

Pike fishing is something i really like to do but tying flies for it has not always been my favorite. There was a period of a year or so that I didn't tie a single pike fly. That was in a time when almost all pike flies were based of big bundles of flat flashabou. Something I hated handling. To make epoxy heads is something I hate as well. Not a good combination for tying pike flies I thought and put it to the side. But things happened since then. Try to tie this fly by following the video instructions and combined all the new, upcoming materials that can take a hard beating of lots of pike. It is an easy pattern to get the proportions right and can be tied in a lot of different colors. You have two examples down below. To save time as well as my patience I use plastic dumbbell eyes instead of making an epoxy head with eyes.
